ANTONIO PERIS-MUÑOZ

Trumpet teacher at the CPM in Almussafes and Conductor of the “Catachana 82” of Madrigueras (Albacete).

 

He finished his bachelor degree at the Castellón Music University “Salvador Seguí” under Professor Vicente Campos.

 

He received conducting lessons from well known conductors such as: Miguel Ángel Navarro Gimeno, Andy Morley, Kerry Jago, Colin Metters, José Rafael Pascual Vilaplana y José Martínez Colomina.

 

From the year 2008 he was appointed to be the conductor of the “Unió Musical de Catarroja” young band with whom he won several prizes in past years. He conducts the orchestra of the “Unió Musical de Catarroja”. Toni has been a guest conductor at the Berliner Sinfonietta of Berlín (Germany), Orquesta ClasicaViva of Milán (Italy), among others.

He finished his Orchestra conducting studies with honours in "Milano Music School" with the maestre Gilberto Serembe and continues his studies with the maestro Rafael Sanz-Espert (Wind Band of Valencia).

Today he is completing his orchestra conducting studies in Milan at the “Milano Music School” under Professor Gilberto Serembe and is also taking lessons with the Maestro Rafael Sanz-Espert, the conductor of the Madrid Municipal Wind Band.

 

Antonio is a Co-Director of the International Music Festival of Valencia, where he has the opportunity to work with well known international musicians.
