Information and schedules of complementary activities

OPEN GENERAL PLANNING

Yoga, Pilates and Alexander Technique

​

  • These activities are a first contact so that all attendees can appreciate the benefits that these arts bring to the daily lives of musicians.

  • No previous experience is required.

​

  • To make the most of the classes, it is recommended (not mandatory) to attend with comfortable sports clothing and a yoga mat.

​

  • The activities will be in Spanish, but international students can also attend and follow the instructions of the instructors.

​

  • There are two sessions each morning, and you can attend the one that best suits you (until the capacity of 50 students is filled). We recommend that you try to go to the first session, so that if it is full, you still have the option of attending the second session.

​

Psychology and Coach talks for musicians

  • Important topics for the life of the musician will be worked on and students who wish to do so will have the opportunity to ask the psychologist questions.

​

  • There are two sessions each morning, and you can attend the one that best suits you (until the capacity of 60 students is filled). We recommend that you try to go to the first session, so that if it is full, you still have the option of attending the second session.

​

  • If someone CANNOT attend, there is no need to notify as the activity will be carried out equally with the other attendees.

​

Maintenance and repair workshop for wind instruments

  • There will be a talk about the care and maintenance of wind instruments and, in addition, the teachers will make small repairs to all those students who need them.

​

  • The specific session for each instrument will be marked in the specialty schedule.

​

Luthiery workshop for stringed instruments

  • There will be a talk about the care and maintenance of string instruments and in addition, the teacher will make small repairs to all those students who need them.

​

Oboe reed workshop

  • For oboe students to learn and compare among themselves the ways of making reeds: choice of blade material, different leadpipes, reed measurements, scrapings, etc.

​

  • The purpose of this workshop is for all oboe students to know how important it is to have a good reed to play anywhere and since it is such a personal thing, they know the importance of knowing how to make and adjust their own reeds. .
